Hybrid Cloud: Infrastructure (SHORE)

The service provides secure, scalable, on-demand cloud-based computing resources with self-service interface and offers individual, self-managed virtual machines hosted on our private cloud platform using either Windows or Linux.

Users are provided with automated, self-service access to the virtual compute, primary storage and network components through a unified platform (based on HPE Morpheus) that is capable of seamlessly extending across the University’s on-premises private cloud and into public cloud platforms. Please note the integration with public cloud platforms is not available yet and is on the roadmap.

  • Tanzu provides an additional option for running modern, container-based applications using Kubernetes. It offers a managed platform for deploying and operating container workloads, reducing the complexity of cluster management while supporting scalable, resilient applications hosted on the SHORE private cloud.
