Digital Collections Tool (Museums)
The Digital Collections Tool is a bespoke solution managed by the Ashmolean that supports the Digital Collections team in a number of ways including recording the quality level of data (bronze, silver, gold) and providing quality reports for use by Collections teams; controlling what documented data is made available online; forming part of the integration landscape between the CMS, DAMS and Collection Online systems; providing data for use in key Digital Collections reports and dashboards. It is proposed that the tool is rolled out for use across the museums to support better management and reporting on digital collections
