Intune - Shared Device Management
Service offering a unified device management platform for the University of Oxford, ensuring secure and compliant oversight across all Units. (ITSS from departments and colleges who adopt the service are termed as “Units”). The service is deployed on Microsoft Intune, operating under a single Microsoft Entra ID tenant with a “one tenant, multi-unit” model, with scope tags and RBAC allowing IT teams to manage only their own Unit’s devices. The University supplies the core Intune system, while departments manage daily device and application tasks for their users.
Only "Unit" Admins to raise support requests with the Intune Platform Administration team. Other users to contact their local ITSS for support.
