Trusted Research Environment (OxTRE)
The University of Oxford Trusted Research Environment (OxTRE) team are developing an end-to-end cloud computing product system designed specifically for processing sensitive data.
OxTRE is hosted on Microsoft Azure and offers flexible computing resources and storage capacity to approved users via secure remote access. It operate within the framework of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), allowing research teams to confidently meet legal, contractual, and ethical obligations with ease, creating more time to focus on research. Longer-term, the TRE aims to be ISO27001 certified, meeting the leading global standard for information security.
